Maria Gertrude (Lujan) Showman

  Maria Gertrude (Lujan) Showman passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Feb. 14, 2018.  She was born March 12, 1934 in Hayden, Arizona to Jesus and Pastora Lujan. 

  Gertrude and her husband, Edwin Showman, built their lives in Dripping Springs where they were both active with the Gila County Search and Rescue.  Gertrude was also active with the Hayden Senior Citizens where she enjoyed delivering meals.  She enjoyed baking, crocheting, reading and watching western movies.  She will be greatly missed. 

  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her sister Jesse Sotelo.  She is survived by her sisters, Teresa Apodaca, Angelina (Albert) Meza and Molly Acuna; many nieces and nephews and her stepchildren Kay, David and Eddie.
