Nov. 11 is a day to recognize all veterans of the US Armed Forces. Veterans day is a day to stop and pause and be grateful for the sacrifices that our veterans and their families have made to protect our freedoms, some have made the ultimate sacrifice.

A sacrifice that many average folks will never be brave enough to give. Will you be out shopping at Veterans Day sales or can you spare an hour or more to remember members of our armed forces?

If you are looking for a way to celebrate and remember our local veterans you can do that this Sun. Nov. 11 at the Superior Veterans of War Post at 405 Main St.

The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. and will end with a luncheon provided by the post and the post auxiliary. The annual ceremony will include veteran recognition and speeches from community leaders.

For more information on the event, please contact the VFW post at 520-689-5552.
