On Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, the following letter was sent home with all students in the Superior School District.

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I am aware of rumors throughout the community about an alleged molestation incident occurring at John F. Kennedy playground. This letter is to inform you that our local authorities have been notified as required by law. I can tell you that I have been informed that at this point, this incident is looking unsubstantial. We will keep parents and the community informed through letters and our local news sources. We are committed to the safety of our students, teachers and staff.

Sincerely,

/s/ Pete Guzman
