San Manuel – Kick off the holiday weekend at an open house at the Pinal County Sheriff’s Substation, 190 Redington Road, sponsored by the Pinal County Sheriff’s office, Adelente Juntos Coalition and Sun Life Family Health Center.

There will be experts on hand to answer your questions about medicine and prescriptions. If you have any unused prescription medicines, bring them along to dispose of them safely and protect our water supply. The Sheriff’s office will also unveil the new medicine disposal box, and demonstrate how keeping your prescription meds secured can save lives.

Everything you need to know to keep your children safe from prescription med abuse will be presented by Tammy McCarville and Casa Grande Alliance.

On Sat., Mar. 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. there will be free refreshments and demonstrations and a puppet show for the kids while parents are in RX360. For children two to five years of age, there will be a free hearing and vision screening, followed by face painting for every child who completes the screening.
