Rita Camacho Vizzerra, 71, of Phoenix, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Dec. 5, 2012.

She leaves behind her husband of 50 years, Francisco “Sonny”; and four sons, Frank, Joseph, and Richard and their families, all of Mesa, and Christopher of Austin, TX.  She also leaves behind her mother, Lily Camacho of Kearny; three brothers, Ramon, Eusebio and Ricardo Camacho; and two sisters, Flora Zamora and Linda Urtuzuastegui and their families.  Mom leaves behind 16 wonderful grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was raised in the town of Sonora, AZ and graduated from Ray High School in 1960.  Mom was a firecracker with a lively spirit and will always be remembered for her strength, devotion and the enormous amount of love she instilled in all of us. We love you and will miss you dearly.

Her visitation and rosary were held at Thompson Funeral Chapel on Dec. 10, 2012 in Goodyear, AZ.
