Rhonda Kay Melton, born May 14, 1950,passed away on August 27, 2012 in Surprise after losing her battle with cancer.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Dave Melton of Wittman; two daughters, Jamie Dalhstrand of Wittmanand Jennifer Simpson of Phoenix; grandson, Conner Simpson; mother, Iva Garcia of Chandler; mother-in-law, Beverly Carter Melton of Peoria; two sisters, Peggy Benes of Chandler and Linda Vargas of San Manuel; and many nephews and nieces.

Rhonda loved her plants, her two dogs and her cat. Rhonda could grow anything. She loved working in her yard. Rhonda’s husband, Dave, was kept busy making whatever she wanted for the house and yard. She would show him a picture and it was done.

Rhonda was the counselor of the family. She’s always looked at both sides. She was funny and a loving wife and mother. She loved playing with her grandson, Connor. Rhonda will be so, so missed by all of us. We love you, Rhonda.
