A man was killed Sunday evening when he was struck by a diesel truck on US Highway 60. At press time the Superior Police and Fire Departments had responded to the accident but full details were not available.

The name of the victim or the driver has not been released pending notification of the her family and investigation.

The driver of the truck was given a toxicology screening and will be evaluated in order to fully complete the investigation. Superior Police Department had requested a special investigation unit to assist with the investigation.

Pinal County Sheriffs and Department of Public Safety were also on the scene.
