According to the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO), deputies were called to a home in San Manuel Sat. night, Oct. 27, 2012, after the homeowners called 911 when a man they did not know began banging on their door asking for help.

When deputies arrived a few minutes later, they discovered the man dead at the scene.

PCSO Public Information Officer Tim Gaffney has confirmed that homicide detectives are investigating the man’s death as a homicide, but other details are not yet available.

The victim was identified as Nicholas Angelo Lagunas, 30, of Winkelmen. His next of kin has been notified, Gaffney said.

Information will be posted online at CopperArea.com or FB.com/CopperArea as it becomes available.
