Dena changed her address when she went to be with the two major loves of her life, her loving husband and her wonderful Savior, on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012. She was born on Jan. 20, 1928 to Jennings Haskell and Bettie Ina Underwood; she was the oldest of three children.

In college at Oklahoma Baptist University, she met and married Leonard L. Amos. Together they raised five children.

Her parents, husband, brother JB, sister Ella, and two great-grandchildren Michael and Derek preceded her in death. She is survived by her five children Saundra McDaniel (Doug), Ohio, James (Linda), Carlsbad, NM, Betsy Gillaspy (Thomas), Phoenix, AZ, Carol Amos, Roswell, NM, and Melinda Shell (Ken), Kearny, AZ; 13 and counting grandchildren, and lots of wonderful great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, 2012 at the Church of Christ, in Kearny, AZ. Visitation will be held beginning at 9 a.m. at the church. The online guestbook is available at GriffithMortuary.com.
