The Superior Fire Department responded to a structure fire on the evening of October 23 at 236 Heiner Dr. Superior Fire Department Engine 631, Tender 631, and Engine 632 responded to the blaze. Superior Fire reported that upon arrival, the structure was fully engulfed, and two buildings to the east and west of the home were also threatened.
No one was injured, and the department was able to keep the fire from spreading to the other homes and structures that were threatened. The home was not occupied at the time of the incident, however the renters in the home were displaced. Queen Valley Fire responded with an engine, a tender, and a command vehicle. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
