Horseshoe, cornhole tournaments this weekend to benefit local causes

Are you looking for some competitive fun this weekend? If you are you can try your skills at tossing horseshoes or beanbags this weekend. Saturday the Superior Optimist Club will host a Horseshoe Tournament benefitting the Richard Castaneda Scholarship fund and the Superior Little League will host a Cornhole Tournament Sunday benefitting the Little League.

The Horseshoe tournament will be held on Saturday, March 9, behind the Superior Senior Center. Registration will begin at 11 am with the tournament starting at 1 pm. Registration is $20 per team. Pre-register for the tournament by calling Olga Lopez at 520-827-4119.

The Superior Little League will host a Cornhole Tournament on Sunday, March 10, at the lot next to Felicia’s Ice Cream Shop. Registration is $30 per team and will begin at 11 am.
