Hambly Middle School Students are letting their lights shine, in more ways than one, starting with the Student and Citizens of the Month, which is a regular facet of promoting good grades and good manners for the students.
On Fri., Sept 27, students went a step further, as the Hambly Middle School National Junior Honor Society Members volunteered at the St. Mary’s Food Bank.
Students helped sort through over 25, 200 lbs. of potatoes, which were boxed to help feed over 1,800 families across the State of Arizona. Members who volunteered are: Julian Cruz, Frankie Valencia, Javier Lopez, Jaden Gonzales, Samantha Waddell, Robert Bohrn, Ariana Pacheco, Kayla Islava, Robert Casillas and Angelita Casillas.
