School is moving right along, the Hayden-Winkelman Unified School District has completed a successful first month with many students making smart choices and acting on them. The Hayden-Winkelman School District would like to honor and celebrate the Student’s of the month for August, Kindergarten through the fifth grade which consists of the following students: Kindergarten Tyler Gardner, first grade Paul Michael Gaither, second grade Christopher Casillas, third grade Brandon Garner Jr., fourth grade Greace Ramirez Corona and fifth grade Annalecia Gonzalez. The citizen of the month awards are based on special characteristic traits. The teacher’s award the students based on which characteristics the students have modeled themselves after.
The Hayden-Winkelman School District also would like to give special thanks to the students who were voted as citizens of the month for August. They are as follows; Kindergarten Kyleigh Adkins, first grade Raymond Sanchez, second grade Deondre Collier, third grade Katrina Inzunza, fourth grade Roman Mariscal and fifth grade Sarrah Perez. The teachers nominate the citizen of the month based on academic behaviors and what student has made the most improvements during the month.
The Hayden-Winkelman Unified School District is truly dedicated to excellence and helping the students achieve their ultimate goals. The teachers, staff, Superintendent Jeff Gregorich and Elementary Principal Pam Gonzalez all want to see the students excel and enjoy themselves being the best they can with the tools provided by the school district.
Hayden-Winkelman is committed first and foremost to student achievement and to provide the students with the tools they need for academic, personal and social achievement. Partnering with parents and the community is necessary to create an environment geared to the success of all students.
