Dudleyville – Fun Van by First Things First Ready for School Set for Life is a free program for families with children from birth to five years in age. The program includes eight weeks of parent education sessions on early childhood topics to promote literacy, and an early preschool experience for children.

Children who read frequently develop stronger reading skills and it gives him or her a better chance at being successful in school. Reading aloud to your children from birth can help them learn to identify with reading as a pleasurable activity and to build their vocabulary. It’s also a great way to bring your family closer.

The program sessions will be held every Tuesday, from Mar. 19 to May 7 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Dudleyville Multi-Generational Center at 4004 North Dudleyville Rd. in Winkelman. Call 480-474-8559, email Funvan@ajcity.net or visit online at ajpl.org/van for more information.
