Frank “Panchico” T. Amado died Oct. 18, 2013.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores; his children, Don, Lillian, Rolando, Bernice, and Teena; his brothers and sisters, Adan, Helen, Andres, Ernestine, Lupe, Procopia, Sara, and Evita; his grandchildren, Ramon Javier, Shina Dee, Antonio, and Marquis Daniel; and seven great grand-children, 16 nephews and nieces and many great nieces and nephews. His parents, Adan and Josephine Amado, and a brother, Enrique, preceded him in death.
Frank Amado was the true example of Servitude Leadership. He attended Hayden High School, Eastern Arizona Community College, was a member the United States Army, and a received his Bachelor of Science in Education from Arizona State University. He began his teaching and coaching career with Hayden School district and retired in 1996 after 24 years of service. He continued giving back to the community as a football scouting coach for an additional seven years. Frank was given many gifts; the one that he treasured was being able to share his gift of music with his family and our community.
We invite you to attend the Celebration of Frank’s life on Friday, Oct. 25, at 10 a.m. in the Hayden High School gym, 824 Thorne Ave., Hayden. Graveside services will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery in Hayden. A luncheon will then be held at the Hayden Golf Course.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation be made directly to Hayden High School on behalf Frank T. Amado.
