Elvia P. Mariscal, 90, of Hayden, AZ passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Casa Del La Luz Hospice, Tucson, AZ.

Elvia was born in San Juan de Los Lagos, Mexico on October 29, 1921 the daughter of Louis and Dolores (Padilla) Marquez. Elvia married Pablo Mariscal and were married for 53 years. Elvia enjoyed reciting poems, watching novelas, listening to music of her era and going to the “casino”.

Elvia is survived by her children: Alvaro (Irene) Mariscal, Manuel (Maria) Mariscal, Sandra (Miguel) Marquez and Arcelia (David) Lopez; 24 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren;

She is preceded in death by her: parents; husband: Pablo; sons: Jesus (Victoria) and Arnold (Evangelina) Mariscal.

 

Visitation: Friday, October 5, 2012 from 8:30 to 10:30 A.M. at St. Joseph Parish, Hayden, AZ.

Rosary: Friday, October 5, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at the church.

Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, October 5, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the church.

Burial: Mountain View Cemetery, Hayden, AZ.
