Elmer Flovin, a longtime resident of Oracle and San Manuel, passed away Sept. 30, 2012 in Tucson.

Elmer was born Dec. 17, 1942, in Plainview, TX. He moved to Oracle with his wife and two sons in 1971 and worked for Magma Copper/BHP as an electrician until 1999. Elmer became an artisan with his woodworking, making many beautiful items for his friends and family.

Elmer is survived by his wife Eva Joyce (Joy); and his two sons and their families, Aaron (Nancy) and Adrien Flovin; and three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service for Elmer will be held at the First Baptist Church in San Manuel on Sat., Oct. 6, 2012 at 3:00 p.m.
