On Saturday, Feb. 2, Kearny Cub Scout Troop #872 collected non-perishable food items for this year’s Scouting For Food Drive. It was a success and collected just under 400 pounds of food for the Florence Food Bank that comes to Kearny to deliver free food to those in need. The food that was collected will be delivered on Feb. 21 to help the food bank give even more to those in need. Thank you to everyone that donated. It was great to see the boys’ reaction to so much love here in our town! Pictured are: Caleb Faucette, Isaiah Azevedo and Aaron Azevedo. (Submitted photo)
