Salvador grew up in Hayden. He was a self-employed mechanic. He survived by his two sons: Thomas and Salvador Rios; three grandchildren; three aunts; one uncle; and many cousins and friends.

Frank (Kiko) Gonzales, 86, of Mammoth, passed away on May 5, 2013 in Tucson, AZ. He was born on Jan. 29, 1927 in Hayden, AZ. Kiko was a WWII veteran and retired from Kennecott after 39 years of service.

Vanessa was born the daughter of Francisco and Linda (Juarez) Gonzalez in Globe on Oct. 10, 1981. Vanessa grew up and attended school in Hayden. She worked as a court clerk in Mammoth. Vanessa always had a smile in her face and loved spending time with her family and son Daniel Paul.

Carmen C. Perez, 91, was born July 17, 1021 in Temacapulín, Mexico, to Ysidoro and Beatriz Perez. She passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2013.
The fourth of five children (a sibling died in infancy), she was raised in Sonora, Arizona, with her sister Lupe and brothers Joe and Ramón. Sonora was a tightly-knit community; a small mining town where everyone grew up as one big family.
