Folks receiving calls from Verizon subscribers in the Oracle area will be able to answer that question with a great big yes thanks to the new Verizon tower that is being erected near American Avenue and Oracle Turbine Station Road.

Cited as a hindrance to emergency helicopters landing and taking off from the Oracle heliport and a detractor to historical buildings in the area, Verizon and the town came to an agreement earlier this year on the placement of the tower at the north end of town.
