A body of young male was found at 76 Sunset on Monday. The name of the deceased was unable to be released until immediate family is notified.

It was determined that the body had been dead for at least a week based on the decomposition of the body.Upon discovering the body Superior Police Department contacted the Pinal County Sheriff’s Identification Unit and the County Medical Examiner Body to assist with identification of the body.The cause of death will not be available until after the autopsy and toxicology reports are complete.

The Superior Police Department had stopped to visit the deceased in regards to an unrelated crime and noticed a foul odor coming from a window of the home.They entered the home and discovered the body.

Superior Police Department is looking for anyone who may have information on this death.They would like to talk with those who have lived with the deceased recently. Anyone with information or if you had resided with the deceased should contact the Superior Police Department at 520-689-5254.
