Bernice L. Pappan passed away on Dec. 10 in Apache Junction. She was born on July 9, 1935 in Napoleon, North Dakota, but, has lived the last 47 years in Kearny.

Bernice Pappan was laid to rest on Dec. 14, in Kearny, following a funeralat the Infant Jesus of Prague Parish in Kearny, at which Father Robert Rodriguez officiated.

Preceded in death by her spouse, Cecil Pappan, Bernice is survived by her children: Rodney, Ricky and David; sister Marie; brothers: Bob, James, Sebastian, John, Ronnie and Kenny; nine grandchildren: Jason, Kent, Anna, David, Shane, Ryan, Darien, Jarithand Kyle;and five great-grandchildren: Bryee, Kambree, Silon, Roxanne and Erianna.

Griffith Mortuary assisted the family.
