Arthur James “Jap” Ramirez, 55, passed away on Sept. 22, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Phoenix, AZ surrounded by his family and friends.
“Jap” is survived by his wife of 33 years, Yolanda Ramirez; daughter, Christine (Ben Duarte); son, Michael Ray; parents, Ray and Evelyn Ramirez; brother, Ray Ramirez (Molly); and grandchildren, Amelia, Gabriel, Jacob, Adam, Lessenia, Mya, Abby, Benjamin and Kevin. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was loved by family and friends dearly and will always be remembered for his volunteer work with Golf Tournaments, The Superior Little League and Superior High School Baseball. He loved his time coaching! He was also a member or the “Red Bear Outfitters” and loved to hunt, fish and golf. He also loved his “Dallas Cowboys”. He will be dearly missed by many but will forever remain in our hearts! We love you Dad, may you rest in paradise.
Funeral services were held on Sept. 30, 2013 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Superior, AZ with the Rosary at 10 a.m. and Mass at 11 a.m. with the Luncheon to follow at the St Mary’s Center.
