Richard Charles Waltermire

On Feb. 15, 2012, we lost a wonderful man, Richard Charles Waltermire. Richard was known by many as “Uncle Richie.”

He served his country in the Marine Corps and decided to call Oracle his home after his term for more than 35 years. He was well-known for home repair work and his love for his children.

He is survived by his daughter Veronica and her husband Robert Thompson of Oracle, sister Bonita and her husband Glen Crabtree of Kentucky, brother Bud and his wife June Waltermire of Buckeye, brother Steele and wife Brenda Waltermire of Brant, New Mexico, sister Rosetta and her husband Albert Waters of Tucson, and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25, at Living Word Chapel in Oracle, at 4 p.m.
